Starting Jan 1, The Men’s Clinic will be offering a new testosterone formulation to our patients.
The new formulation is a combination of 80% testosterone cypionate mixed with 20% testosterone propionate. The two meds will be mixed in a vial that patients will draw directly from.
The meds are mixed with a new oil, Miglyol, that allows for sub cutaneous injection instead of intramuscular injection. The injections will be placed just beneath the skin using a very small needle two times per week.
The new formulation coupled with the new route of administration and injection frequency will allow for a much more stable testosterone level in the blood without the high testosterone peaks that cause both excessive red blood cell production and high estrogen levels.

Our old testosterone formulation will still be available for those patients who want to continue it.
